The big event of the 5th Partner Meeting in Swansea, Wales was the “Made in…Trade Fair” in which all partner countries participated, showcasing their own traditional products, culture and tourist attractions.
This Trade Fair was related to the Erasmus+ programme theme “When I grow up I want to be…” (WIGU) , took place at the International Waterfront Museum in Swansea and each country set up and curated their own product stall.
As part of the development of children’s entrepreneurship, our students prepared -with the help and supervision of their teachers, Mr. Christos Trantis and Ms. Anna Kalantidou- and exhibited products made from beetroot that they themselves produced in our school’s vegetable garden, such as pickles, jam, breadsticks, cakes and beetroot biscuits. The Greek stall also contained the famous Tzanis pastels as well as other delicacies from the famous food brand – courtesy of the Tzanis factory to our school.
Our stall impressed everyone and gained everyone’s attention and positive comments!
After the exhibition was over, a group photo shoot followed and also a tour of the beautiful city and harbour of Swansea!
In the evening all delegations enjoyed a unique surprise disco party prepared for us by our Welsh partners in the large ceremony room of the Tan-y-lan school!
The next day was the day of our return to Greece…
Our trip to Wales will be unforgettable…!!!
