On the 4th day of the meeting the teams visited the famous Poble Espanyol, a charming open-air museum in the city of Barcelona, where a total of 117 buildings from different regions of Spain were recreated there and represent all the architectural styles of the country. The children took a tour of the complex and were introduced to the authentic Spanish way of life by participating in theatre games and learning about the myths conected with some of the traditional buildings.
On the same day, we took a guided tour of the most popular places and buildings in the centre of Barcelona such as “La Rambla”, the central food market “Mercado de la Boqueria”, the “Urquinaona” metro station, the Gothic Cathedral “Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia”, the Roman Catholic church “Sagrada Familia” etc. The delegations had lunch at the traditional Spanish restaurant “Pollos”🐔🐓 and finally visited the museum and the famous “Camp Noun Stadium” of Barcelona football team!⚽️🏆
The 6th and last partners’ meeting ended with a beautiful farewell ceremony for the teams.
The next day, all the delegations headed back home…
This trip, like all the others, will remain etched in the memories of all of us…!
